Gardening[]

Kurt heads west with Wolfie and lists the PAWS fundraiser at $2,813. He mentions The Girlfriend getting a raised garden, and the romaine lettuce they're growing is growing rapidly as well as tomatoes. Unfortunately she got just a pack of random seeds too, and it took time to deduce what was what.

Question: For/if/when you have a child have you already brainstormed any potential names? If so, have you discussed the topic with The Girlfriend? How would you go about finding the perfect name? A baby name book? Other family member's names? Perhaps a Kurtjmac Jr.? For myself, if I have a daughter, I would name them after my grandmother[]

He has decided he does not want children, saying he's just awkward around them. The Girlfriend feels the same way, feeling happy enough with cats and animals. Kurt has heard he'd feel different about his own kids, but is scared he would still not connect with a kid he has. Kurt has in fact thought far more about what to name pets than potential future children. He was talking to The Girlfriend about his experience growing up Catholic and getting confirmed and taking a saint's name. Kurt chose a saint with the same name of his middle name. Someone in his confirmation class chose Saint Homobonus, a real saint.

Question: Now that The Girlfriend has beheld tiny baby ducklings, how long before she brings home a few for keeps?[]

She said if they could not find anyone to take the ducks Kurt and her would have to keep them, but it was the last thing she wanted to do. The Girlfriend was surprised Kurt had never held baby ducklings before, while she has hung out with lots of different animals including volunteering at a Washington cat rescue.

Question: How do you feel about fireworks? Increasing frequency this year?[]

Kurt mentioned this on stream, but he has never lived anywhere where people love fireworks as much as they do in Washington. On the actual 4th of July, it is constant fireworks for hours. Kurt knows they're easily purchasable on nearby tribal land, but Kurt is just confused by the sociology of the Seattle area that has people love fireworks so much. Kurt also doesn't understand the obsession Seattle has with the Seahawks and the houses painted in Seahawks colors.
