Kerbal Space Program 02 - Orbital Combombulation is the second episode of the second season of Kerbal Space Program, the second episode of the seventh world, and the one-hundred-fourteenth overall episode
Heading back into the seventh 'German Kerman' world, Kurt says that they should look at the contracts from the Kerbin World-Firsts Record-Keeping Society before corporations as they go on a more linear progression tree. He takes an R&D contract with the record-keeping contracts for a parachute as Kurt heads back to the drawing board for rocket construction. Kurt begins creating a rocket and gets on the launch pad (named Mini Orbiter 1 with Jebediah Kerman in command as it blasts off into space. Planning to use an orbital maneuver, Kurt decides to manually get himself into orbit. Kurt takes a crew report and has Jebediah go out on an EVA and almost does not get him back in the rocket. Maneuvering into a de-orbit position, Kurt speeds up time as the Mini Orbiter I approaches Kerbin's surface. Popping the parachute at the exact moment, Kurt fulfills all specifications of the contract. Hitting the ocean, the majority of the rocket breaks off and sinks with the goo containers detaching. Jebediah is recovered with Mini Orbiter I and the debris is recovered. Advancing down the science tree, Kurt sees landing legs and purchases them and looks at contracts, seeing one to recover a lost astronaut.
