Still Heading East[]
Kurt opens the episode and continues heading eastward at a fundraiser total of $27,626.00. Over $5,000 has been raised since last Friday, and Kurt is distracted by a circular overhang that reminds him of the Yogscast's original Minecraft home. He continues to talk about how good Child's Play Charity is and that soon we will return westward.
SpaceX Launch Scrubbed[]
Yet again Kurt has told everybody about a launch that failed to occur, this time for the Discover satellite. There was an ESA test launch of a spaceplane that occurred as well.
Question: How are you?[]
After a silence Kurt says he's never been better. Talking about positive thinking, Kurt says that he is going to start being far more positive when asked this question. He finds a bunch of crazy dirt scattered in a one-deep river of water calling it BLIHP. Yesterday his sink broke and his cabinet had a layer of water. He was denied the chance to do vlogs because of a series of tubes.
Question: My daughter, a nine-year-old and I, enjoy watching Far Lands or Bust together. We love the idea of turning east until you reach the goal! What was school like for you growing up?[]
Kurt was pretty smart growing up but was not an honor roll student. Middle of the pack, and he got no special treatment.
Question: Were you bored, an achiever, or class clown? Did you find teachers that would inspire you to achieve?[]
No special teacher connected with Kurt, maybe due to his shyness. Hoping the questions were not sent to inspire the girl, Kurt says he cannot even remember his teacher's names.
Question: How would you inspire kids to learn at a young age?[]
Kurt would recommend not depending on schooling alone, and even thinks the Internet can be a great educator. He thinks that there is nothing wrong with leisure time and having fun. Finding a spawner in a gravel collapsed cave, Kurt takes away some iron from a chest and clears the messy Dungeon before leaving. He wraps up the discussion by saying that he feels he's on the spot. DeltaWhiskey says Kurt has crossed the villainy line into cartoonish villainy. It's been suggested he should be mean more often. Saying he might hop on MindCrack live tonight, Kurt signs off.
